When you make a booking through www.florencehome.it, regardless of the time of payment, you accept the terms and conditions below. We recommend that you read and understand these rules before booking one of our accommodations, it is your responsibility which makes it easier for us to organize your stay.
In general, please keep in mind that during the period of your stay in one of our accommodations you will be responsible for the actions and omissions of yours and all those to whom you provide access, in the accommodation and in the condominium areas of the property in which it is located. it is located. We therefore recommend that you treat our accommodation with the utmost care and in compliance with current laws.
In particular:
– you are responsible for leaving the accommodation, all the goods present in it and the common areas through which you pass in the conditions in which you found them upon your arrival;
– you are required to act in a polite manner, respectful of the silence period (from 10.00 pm to 8.00 am) respecting the rights of other condominium owners.
– please treat our staff with respect.
-if you include one or more minor guests in your booking, or involve a minor in using the accommodation, you must have legal authorization to act on their behalf and you are the only person responsible for supervising the minor.
– you are responsible for paying all reasonable amounts resulting from our claim for damages;
– please report immediately, by sending an email to amministrazione@florencehome.it, any problem you encounter during your stay in one of our accommodations.
1. How do reservations and cancellations work?
When you book one of our accommodations, you agree to pay in advance all charges for your reservation, including the price indicated in the listing and other costs such as cleaning fees, tourist taxes and any other items identified during the booking process.
Please note that, for the moment, we can accept three forms of payment, all denominated in euros: 1) bank transfer; 2) Stripe; 3) Paypal.
It is your responsibility to ensure that payment is made and arrives on time, that your bank, debit or credit card details are correct and that there are sufficient funds in your account.
Even if you pay in advance – including all components of the price and/or a security deposit, where applicable – we are entitled to cancel your booking without notice if we are unable to collect the full payment before your arrival.
Your reservation of our accommodation constitutes a time-limited license to access, occupy and use such accommodation.
We reserve the right to access the accommodation, including through our staff, during your stay to the extent that this is: (i) reasonably necessary; (ii) permitted by applicable law.
If you stay in the Accommodation beyond the check-out time, we have the right to make you leave to the extent permitted by law and we may impose reasonable penalties for overstaying.
You can never exceed the maximum number of guests allowed and declared at the time of booking.
2. How do booking cancellations work?
If you cancel a reservation, the amount refunded is determined according to the following terms.
A. Reservations up to 7 days
1. Guests can cancel a reservation up to 5 days before check-in for a full refund.
2. if the cancellation occurs after this deadline, you will have to pay for all the nights you stayed plus one additional night, in addition to 50% of all the nights you did not use.
B. Reservations from 7 to 30 days
3. Guests can cancel a reservation 30 days before check-in for a full refund;
4. if the cancellation occurs after this deadline, you will have to pay for all the nights you stayed plus one additional night, in addition to 50% of all the nights you did not use.
If the following circumstances occur, you are entitled to a full refund of your booking:
1. Public health emergencies and declared epidemics. Epidemics, pandemics and health emergencies officially announced by the government. Endemic diseases such as influenza and those commonly associated with the specific area, such as malaria in Thailand, are excluded. The Exceptional Circumstances Terms do not cover cases related to COVID-19.
2. Government travel restrictions. Restrictions imposed by a government agency (e.g., an evacuation order). This excludes non-binding travel warnings and guidance.
3. Military actions and other hostile acts. Acts of war, hostilities, invasions, civil wars, terrorist attacks, explosions, bombings, rebellions, riots if and insurrections.
4. Large-scale disruption of essential services. Prolonged outages of basic utilities such as heat, water and electricity that impact the majority of homes in a given geographic area.
5. Natural disasters. Natural disasters and other severe weather events. Weather or natural conditions that are common in a particular location and, therefore, reasonably foreseeable, such as cyclones in Florida in the hurricane season, are only covered if associated with another Event covered by these Terms that impacts the ability to honor the reservation. Think of an evacuation order or large-scale disruption of essential services.
Guests are responsible for any changes to reservations they make through the website www.florencehome.it and agree to pay any additional amounts, costs or taxes associated with such changes.
3. Check-in, check-out and privacy.
Check-in takes place from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. For arrivals at later times, supplements are required to be agreed in advance. For reasons of internal controls, before check-in the names of those who will be hosted in the accommodation must be declared via the appropriate section of our website. Check-out must take place by 10.00 am.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are on time and if you are not, we are not responsible for any costs associated with canceling your booking or any additional costs charged. If you are concerned that you will not arrive on time, please contact us immediately and let us know when you expect to arrive.
As the person making the reservation, you are fully responsible for the actions and behavior of all members of your party. You are also responsible for obtaining their consent before providing us with their personal data.
4. Troubleshooting
We actively work to avoid any problems for our guests and deal with the resolution of any disputes in the most collaborative way. For any issue that cannot be resolved by consensus, the competent court is that of Florence.
